HANNAH HUNTINGTON is so happy to be back co hosting Rising Stars with her sister! She recently spent her summer in NYC studying Musical Theatre at the NY Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She was seen last seen with Moonlight Youth Theater as Lucy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at the Avo Playhouse! Last year she was the evil Ms Andrew in Mary Poppins at the Moonlight Amphitheater. She’s also been seen as Mrs. Banks in Old Town Temecula Theater’s production of Mary Poppins! Hannah has performed extensively with Norris Performing Arts in roles such as Margaret in Carrie, Olive in Spelling Bee & Natalie in All Shook Up. Next year she plans to pursue a BFA in Musical Theater in college! 

RUBY HUNTINGTON is thrilled to return to Rising Stars as a co host with her sister! She recently played  Cat in the Hat in Seussical at the Moonlight Amphitheater where she was seen last summer flying high as Mary in Mary Poppins! She has performed extensively with Norris Performing Arts in roles such as Carrie in Carrie, Logainne in Spelling Bee & Sylvia in All Shook Up. She’s also been seen as Mrs Corry in Old Town Temecula Theater’s production of Mary Poppins! Ruby spent her summer in NYC studying Musical Theater at the NY Conservatory for Dramatic Arts!  She  is currently a senior & is looking to pursue a BFA in Musical Theater in college next year!

ACT ONE RISING STARS

TAYLOR COLEMAN is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy in Carmel Valley. She made her professional debut at age 7 and played Cindy Lou at the Old Globe’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas for 3 seasons, followed by 4 seasons in other roles with the show. Other favorite credits include: the Broadway National Tour of The Sound of Music (Marta), the world premier of Diana, The Musical at the La Jolla Playhouse (Young Diana), Mean Girls (Cady), Fun Home (Small Allison), and Shrek: The Musical (Young Fiona). Favorite TV credits include The Shrink Next Door with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd and This is Us. When she’s not performing, Taylor enjoys gymnastics and playing guitar. Taylor is thrilled to be participating in Rising Stars 2024. Huge, massive kudos and thanks to her agents at DDO, Nikki Mincks Management, James Vasquez and her incredibly supportive voice teacher Nancy Snow Carr.

PAUL JACKSON is a homeschooled junior in high school who became heavily involved in his local community theater in Redlands when he was twelve years old. His first ensemble role was in Seussical the Musical. Since then, his love for musical theater, singing, and dancing has grown. In the last four years, Paul has performed in over twelve musicals. His roles have included one of the seven dwarves in Snow White, Nibs, the lost boy in Peter Pan, Race in Newsies, and most recently, the Herald in Cinderella as well as a comedic stagehand in the Villains Take Over Cinderella goes-wrong show. Additionally, he performed in the dance ensemble for The Little Mermaid at the Redland’s Bowl in the summer of 2022. Paul also enjoys singing tenor in his church choir, tap and swing dancing, martial arts, and recording songs with his friends in four-part harmony. He is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has used his Martial Arts to improve his dancing. In college, Paul hopes to continue in theater and minor in voice.

ELLIS KIM 17, is a senior at Canyon Crest Academy. Within this past year, Ellis performed at Carnegie Hall and La Jolla Playhouse’s WOW Festival with Blindspot Collective. Recent roles include Veronica Sawyer (Heathers) and Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family) at Junior Actors Company, Charlie Brown (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown) at Moonlight Youth Theatre, and Cursed Woman (Chasing Fear), #7 (The Wolves), Liz and Velma U/S (Chicago) at Canyon Crest Academy Envision Theatre Arts. Recent awards include 2nd place in the Broadway/Musical Theatre category of the American Protégé International Vocal Competition 2023 and 3rd place in the Piano category of the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition 2023. She is also a multifaceted dancer, training in Latin ballroom and pointe as well. On top of performing and continuing her training in acting (Shauna Markey), voice (Morgan Carberry, Karyn Overstreet), and dance (The Dance Academy Del Mar, Tamlyn Shusterman, Jill Gorrie, Rachel Schimenti), Ellis loves playing the piano, acoustic guitar, and ukulele along with studying music theory. Additionally, she spends her time with the visual arts such as drawing, photography, and ceramics.

TY EUGENE SMITH is thrilled to be a part of the 2024 Rising Stars Show at CCAE Theatrics. Ty grew up performing in many different show choirs down in Temecula, California such as Chaparral High School’s Platinum FX. He just started doing musical theater at the age of 16 during his junior year of high school. He currently attends California State University Fullerton where he studies theater. Past shows and roles include 13 The Musical as Evan Goldman (COTYMT), West Side Story School Edition as Riff (COTYMT), Grease School Edition as Teen Angel (COTYMT), and Ensemble in Catch Me If You Can The Musical (Fine Arts Network). Ty would like to thank his friends, family, and mentors throughout his journey who trained and kept him motivated. STELLA WAHL is thrilled to be participating in the 2024 Rising Stars Show at CCAE Theatricals!  She is singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter.  She is 15 years old and is in her sophomore year at Cathedral Catholic High School. Stella has been performing since she was 6 years old.  She has enjoyed roles in numerous theatre productions, including two seasons in the cast of How The Grinch Stole Christmas at The Old Globe Theater in San Diego, California.  She also performed as Annika in Pippi Longstocking (San Diego Junior Theatre), JoJo in Seussical, James and the Giant Peach, High School Musical, Shrek The Musical (Christian Youth Theater San Diego) and Les Miserables (J*Company Youth Theatre).  She also participated in several shows in middle school and was just cast as Martha in The Secret Garden, which will be her fourth show at Cathedral. Stella plays guitar and piano and has released two songs on Spotify and Apple Music.  You'll Make It was released in 2021 and Summer Nights in 2023.  She is currently working on her first album to be released in 2024! Stella would like to thank her longtime vocal coach, Karyn Overstreet, for her guidance and her family for supporting her!

ACT TWO RISING STARS

ISABELLA BURER is a sophomore and is so excited to be a part of Rising Stars! Some of her past credits include Little Sally - Urinetown (SDMT), Mary Warren - The Crucible (Santa Fe Christian Theater), Betty Lou Who - How The Grinch Stole Christmas (The Old Globe), Bird Girl - Seussical (Moonlight Youth Theater). When not performing, Isabella enjoys singing, writing, and spending time with her family. Isabella would like to thank Karyn Overstreet for all her amazing training and encouragement and everyone who made this show possible!

JORDAN EDDINGTON is 17 years old and excited to be performing in Rising Stars 2024.  He is a senior theatre major at the San Diego School of Creative & Performing Arts. Recent credits - Chip Tolentino (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Bill Austin (Mamma Mia), Flute (A Midsummer Nights Dream) & Miles Tuck (Tuck Everlasting). He enjoys playing the piano and club volleyball when not performing. He would like to thank the artistic team for this opportunity and all of his amazing teachers & coaches for encouraging him. LISA PAN is a 10th grade student at The Bishop's School. She is a passionate performer, a SAG-AFTRA actress, singer, voiceover artist, and model, represented by Paloma Model and Talent Agency. She is a student of Karyn Overstreet Vocal Studio. Lisa has been casted in many TV shows, commercials, and modeling jobs. She played the role of Jessica in Apple TV+’s “Life By Ella” (2022), casted as a G-Shark singer in Disney’s “Just Roll With It” (2019), etc. She was in commercials for companies like Panda Express, EBay (EBay Motors), and Mattel, etc. She acted as a voiced characters Leah and Minji in Season 3 of the cartoon TV show “Superwings”. She was a part of the Kidz Bop Final Callback in 2020, and made it to the final top 2 selections at the JYP & Republic Records callbacks for the reality TV show - America2Korea (A2K) 2022. Lisa has won many competitions, such as the  NATIONAL AWARD of the YoungArts 2024, INTERNATIONAL award 1st place of the American Protege Vocal Competition 2022, 1st place of the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) CCM competition 2023, 1st place of The Temecula Valley Vocal Competition 2022, 1st place in Coronado’s Got Talent in 2020, 3rd place in San Diego’s Got Talent in 2019, and more! Lisa is so excited to perform in the Rising Stars 2024! Hope you all enjoy the show!

UMA RICHARD is a 17 year old senior at Classical Academy High School in Escondido, CA. She has been immersed in musical theater since she was ten years old and is pursuing this passion of hers as a career. Some of her favorite roles that she's played include Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Patrick Star (Spongebob the Musical), and Grandpa Joe (Willy Wonka Jr). This is Uma’s first time working with CCAE Theatricals. She is extremely honored to have the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented team for 2024 Rising Stars.

TIRZAH (She/her) is the Broadway San Diego Awards 2023 Best Actress. This Award made her a national Jimmy Award Nominee, leading to her Broadway Debut at the Minskoff theater this past summer! She recently starred in the professional production of Man and Moon at the Moxie Theater in San Diego. Tirzah began performing at 3 years old as Sandy the dog in Annie (even being sure to eat plenty of red candy for her panting tongue). She then went on later to portray Annie in two different productions. Tirzah has starred throughout San Diego County over the years. Her favorite roles include, Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Anne (Diary of Anne Frank), Ellie Blake (Freaky Friday),  James (James and Giant Peach), Ike (Newsies), Lorraine (All Shook Up) Dragon, Gingy and Young Fiona (in 3 Shrek productions), Jane Banks (Mary Poppins), Lucy (Charlie Brown’s Christmas), and many more. She is a multi award winning actress throughout San Diego County including NYAs. When not on a stage she has been seen in Nickelodeon commercials and multiple modeling experiences throughout Southern California and beyond.
