We are delighted to share some exciting news: our remounted production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Lewis Family Playhouse has been honored with 18 nominations in the 2025 BroadwayWorld Los Angeles Awards !

This recognition celebrates the extraordinary artistry, dedication, and collaboration of the entire creative team and cast who brought this powerful story to life. We are deeply proud of everyone involved and grateful to our audiences who championed this production from its original debut through its return to the stage.

We are delighted to share that our 2026 Cabaret Series will be announced soon , continuing the tradition of exceptional, intimate musical experiences our audiences have come to love. In past years, we have featured an eclectic mix of performers—from Great American Songbook stylists and Latin jazz artists to Broadway vocalists, Hollywood favorites, and world-class musicians—bringing unforgettable evenings of music to our community.

After four years of producing monthly cabarets across various venues on the California Center for the Arts, Escondido campus, CCAE Theatricals proudly introduced audiences to a new cabaret experience at Bellamy’s Restaurant on Grand Avenue , our official restaurant sponsor of 2025. This elevated format combined remarkable talent with exquisite food and drinks, all set within Bellamy’s beautifully revamped outdoor patio—designed to create an intimate, under-the-stars atmosphere unlike any other.

Our 2026 Cabaret Series will continue that spirit, presenting five outstanding acts—spanning standards, jazz and Latin rhythms, Hollywood classics, and Broadway showtunes—one each month during fair weather months between April and October .

More details about the 2026 season are just ahead, and we look forward to welcoming guests back for another year of exceptional artistry and memorable evenings.
