At Mosaic Theatricals, we have the privilege of witnessing the magic that happens when people experience the arts together.

A child discovers confidence they didn’t know they had.
An artist finds space to grow and create.
An audience sits shoulder to shoulder, laughing together one moment and reflecting quietly the next.

These moments matter deeply to us—and they are only possible because of this community.

Because of your support, Mosaic continues to create opportunities for connection across generations and experiences through theatre, arts education, and storytelling. Young people are discovering their voices with confidence, artists are building meaningful creative pathways, and audiences are gathering to experience stories that foster empathy, joy, and human connection.

Over the past year alone, your support helped make possible:

• 25 productions across 5 venues
• More than 6,000 audience members served
• 6 weeks of youth arts camps serving 469 students
• 19 weeks of after-school arts programming across all 16 Escondido elementary schools
• Year-round apprenticeship opportunities through the Dorris Staples Theatrical Conservatory
• The launch of Uniendo, our intergenerational storytelling initiative connecting youth, adults, and seniors across North and South County

Behind every number is a personal story.

One parent recently shared:

“This program gave my child the opportunity to discover a passion we never even knew she had. Because she participated in the after-school program and camp, it’s truly been life-changing for her. Now she’s completely immersed in musical theatre and dance—and we never would have known without this experience. We can’t thank the staff and directors enough for the confidence they pour into these kids. It truly makes a difference.”

Another patron reflected after bringing a group of teenagers to one of our performances:

“Wow! I bought 10 tickets for my son’s 18th birthday, including seats for several of his friends from the high school band—and even the teenagers were blown away!”

These are the moments that stay with us.

They remind us that the arts help people feel seen. They create belonging. They invite us to understand one another a little more deeply.

As arts organizations across the country continue navigating funding challenges and rising costs, sustaining this work will take all of us working together. That is why we are inviting our community to continue this journey alongside us as we work toward creating more than $1 million in community impact in 2026.

Monthly support, at any level, helps provide the consistency that allows programs to grow, artists to be supported, and young people to continue accessing transformative arts experiences regardless of financial circumstance.

Already in 2026, Mosaic has presented 13 productions, launched spring break camps, expanded after-school programming, and begun building toward an exciting season ahead filled with cabarets, staged readings, community showcases, summer camps, and more. In June, we will unveil our new three-show MainStage season—featuring bold new works, Tony Award-winning musicals, and exciting summer star power that will continue expanding professional theatre opportunities in our region.

This momentum has only been possible because of the extraordinary support of our community. In 2025, 270 donors contributed nearly $600,000 alongside more than $500,000 in grant funding—an inspiring reflection of what can happen when people come together around a shared belief in the transformative power of the arts.
