As a nonprofit theatre organization we rely heavily on the generosity of our community to sustain the artistic excellence of our productions, nurture artists creating new work, and expand access to theatre for audiences of all ages.


In live theatre ticket sales cover about 60 percent of the cost of each production, the remaining 40 percent depends on donor support. Your partnership makes this work possible and ensures that extraordinary storytelling continues to thrive in our region.

we honor donors who have made the following extraordinary commitments:

  • Founders Circle

    • Currently re-opened for December 2025, we are offering a rare opportunity as part of our fundraising efforts—we are reopening our Founders Circle for a brief and meaningful window. 
    • We open this circle only at pivotal moments in our history, and this is one of them. All who make a gift of $100 or more during the month of December will be permanently honored as Founders. 
    • Your name will stand alongside those who believed in this work at a defining moment and chose to help lay the foundation for our future. 

    Permanent recognition for donors whose extraordinary early support helped establish and shape the organization’s foundation. This circle only opens for brief periods of time at pivotal moments in our history. 


    Original members are those who gave $100 or more up to December 31, 2023.

The Theatricals Arts Change-Maker Monthly Donation program allows our supporters on a budget to make a substantial and impactful difference in the quality of productions and shows brought to you by CCAE Theatricals. As an Arts Change-Maker, your monthly gifts ensure that you and your neighbors have access to high quality productions and music that makes a positive difference in the quality of life in San Diego County. Your monthly gifts support young aspiring artists and allows CCAE


Theatricals to offer underserved students access to see a live performance, some for the first time ever - changing their life story.

Cancellation Policy

If you would like to cancel your recurring gift, please contact Executive Director, Julianna Crespo, at jcrespo@theatricals.org or log in to your donor portal to update your preferences.

Invest in Theatre

Transform securities into stage magic.

Stock and other marketable securities can be donated directly from brokerage accounts to CCAE Theatricals, Federal Tax ID #93-2495768. CCAE Theatricals will immediately sell the donated security resulting in a cash donation without tax liabilities, as CCAE Theatricals is a nonprofit organization. You, the donor, will then receive a charitable tax statement equal to the market value of the security on the day it is donated to avoid any capital gains taxes.

so that we can acknowledge your donation properly.

Insurance and Retirement Plans

By listing CCAE Theatricals as a beneficiary on your life insurance policy, IRA account, or other retirement plan, you can give assets when they are no longer needed. Please contact your insurance or retirement broker to name CCAE Theatricals as the beneficiary. Be sure to consult your gift planning advisor with your intent to support.

Wills & Trusts (Bequests)

Your planned gift sustains theatre and arts education far into the future.

Gifts made by bequest will be put to work in our community for years to come. In some cases, charitable donations by bequest can reduce estate taxes for other heirs. It is recommended to seek legal advice when establishing requests, to create or amend the necessary documents. Please contact your legal counsel or contact CCAE Theatricals for a referral.


Sample Bequest Language: 

“I hereby give to CCAE Theatricals, a nonprofit corporation located at 1276 Auto Park Way #402 in Escondido, CA 92029 $ _____ or _____ percent of the residue of my estate to be used for its general purposes.”


All gifts will support CCAE’s mission of creating, strengthening, and enhancing arts and culture for youth and adults in the San Diego communities.

Other Ways to Give

If you are at least age 70 years old, you may donate your IRA required minimum distribution directly to CCAE Theatricals and avoid income taxes on your gift. You may also transfer up to $100,000 to charity tax-free each year, even if it is more than your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
