Submit Your Scripts
Mosaic Theatricals is proud to champion new plays and musicals that reflect the diverse stories and voices of our community.
We have unfortunately closed our submission window. We will start accepting scripts in September 2026 for our 2027 iteration of our Staged Reading Festival. All submissions received during that annual window are reviewed with both developmental and production opportunities in mind.
At this time, we do not accept unsolicited scripts or materials outside the official festival submission period.

Camp ¡Exprésate! Teaching Artist
Spring 2026 After-School Program
Mosaic Theatricals is seeking dynamic, compassionate, and skilled Teaching Artists to join our Camp ¡Exprésate! team.
Teaching Artists lead daily arts-based instruction and collaborate with fellow educators to create a safe, inclusive, and joyful learning environment where every student is seen, valued, and supported.
This opportunity consists of a 9-week program and mandatory training. Scheduled hours will be on the following times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
Approximately 2:30 - 4:30 pm

Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress
AUDITION PORTALAudition Overview
Auditions for Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress will be conducted via video submission. Please click "schedule audition" and select the box for "video submission."
Actors are asked to submit:
• One (1) contemporary monologue, approximately one minute in length
• Monologue should be in the style of the play—grounded, imaginative, playful, and emotionally honest
• Material should be appropriate for Theatre for Young Audiences
Video submissions will be reviewed by the creative team. Callback invitations will be extended from the submission pool.
Callbacks will be held:
• Date: January 20
• Time: 5:00–10:00 PM
• Location: Oak Hill Activity Center, Escondido

• Callbacks will be scheduled within this window
• Additional details will be provided to invited actors
All roles are played by adult actors. Movement skills and comfort with physical storytelling are preffered.
Production Casting Policy
Mosaic Theatricals is a Professional Theatre Company and hires actors who are both members of Actors’ Equity Association and professional non-equity actors. Actors are hired on a show-by-show basis during the season and auditions for individual shows are open to submissions. Additional inquiries can be sent to auditions@theatricals.org
