SUBMISSIONS & AUDITIONS
PRODUCTION CASTING POLICY

CCAE Theatricals is a Professional Theatre Company and hires actors who are both members of Actors’ Equity Association and professional non-equity actors. Actors are hired on a show-by-show basis during the season and auditions for individual shows are open to submissions. Additional inquiries can be sent to auditions@theatricals.org

CCAE Theatricals does not accept hard copy submissions of headshots and resumes.

SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS

CCAE Theatricals accepts script submissions on a year-round, rolling basis. If you’d like for us to read and consider your work, please read the below information carefully for submission guidelines.
​
All unproduced play submissions will be read with both developmental and production opportunities in mind.
​
Because of the size of our staff and the volume of scripts we receive each year, CCAE Theatricals does not currently respond to all submissions. If you’d like to introduce us to your work, please send the following in a single email to scripts@theatricals.org.
Please note that we do not accept hard copy submissions. Preferable to include:

a bio/resume
-
a synopsis of your play or musical

a 10-page dialogue sample of your choosing, for longer play submissions

demo tracks (if your project is a musical)

We request that playwrights submit no more than one dialogue sample of the same work for consideration every six months. Please allow at least one month for submissions to be read and processed. A member of our staff will contact you if we wish to solicit the full manuscript.
